A void? More like some weird chasm with funny little floating things in it, if you ask me.
I've had to take some extended breaks from writing, such is the effect of a near-daily cadence for over a year. A vocation such as this requires a weird sort of attention; learning to appreciate negative space can be a tiresome thing for an artist sometimes, you know. But here we are, back in some kind of groove, and while I appreciate time away, I've come to feel much more settled when I come back. I've felt rather manic over the course of the last several days, but some olanzapine and kpin help me get back from my dumb little stratosphere and back into the sweet digs of the chasm. Do you see that? Yeah, me neither. I've felt a greater sense of love coming about recently, and while human birth records indicate that our mating season is upon us, it expresses itself in much more wholesome ways. Recently, I learned that the church's new year starts in September. Funny correlation there, isn't it? Governmental calendars align to harvests, while spiritual ones align to ethereal affairs of love and newness. Isn't that something? After 28 years, He finally decided to reveal that cute little irony to me.
I'm thinking back to when Christ got apprehended by the feds, perched up top that hill. He must have saw them coming, didn't He? Not just mentally and spiritually, but also quite literally—their torches moving quickly toward Him like an inverse moth.
